Dictionary Data Sources
MoaVoca builds its word lookup feature on top of several openly-licensed dictionary datasets, all distributed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA). The links below take you directly to the upstream sources. A fuller dataset listing is available at moavoca.com/data.

Exam vocabulary lists (HSK, Goethe, TOEIC, TOEFL/IELTS, TOPIK, JLPT, CILS, DELE, DELF) are built from the sources below, attributed under their respective licenses. CC BY-SA word-sets are used as factual data and re-selected; example sentences and translations are generated by our own pipeline.
MoaVoca is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ETS (TOEIC/TOEFL), the British Council/IDP/Cambridge (IELTS), the Japan Foundation (JLPT), Hanban/CLEC (HSK), the Goethe-Institut (Goethe-Zertifikat), Instituto Cervantes (DELE), France Éducation international (DELF/DALF), Università per Stranieri di Siena (CILS), or NIIED (TOPIK). Exam names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the vocabulary an exam covers.
